Aron Levin, 99, of Mayfield Heights, is a 1992 emigrant from Moscow, Russia. A former employee of the NKVD in the Soviet Union, he had a career in the gas industry after leaving government work before coming to the United States at his wife’s request. Part of a series of interviews documenting the unique immigrant experience of Soviet Jews in northeast Ohio and explore issues of professional, family, and religious life.
