The Two Roads to Peace!: How shall we end the rebellion--shall we coax it, or crush it?

Every American citizen wants the Rebellion ended and peace restored. Two plans have been proposed for doing it: one, by a Convention which met at Baltimore, June 7; the other, by a Convention which met at Chicago, August 30.
