Svetlana Naku interview
Svetlana Naku, 78, of Richmond Heights is a 1992 emigrant from Minsk, Belarus. A medical doctor in Minsk, she worked for the resettlement offices of Jewish Family Service Association in Cleveland, helping other refugees from the former Soviet Union to become American citizens. Part of a series of interviews documenting the unique immigrant experience of Soviet Jews in northeast Ohio and exploring issues of professional, family, and religious life.
